2015 Boat League Results
The 2015 Boat League is under way again and it is a strong field. After a year out Colin McDonald (left) returns to the boat league and wins the first heat of the year with 9 fish. He caught 5 over in the butts on a floating line on buzzers then he moved to Sams point and caught another 4 on a slow glass pulling boobies before it turned cold which, "put paid to many more fish getting caught". Colin wins a £25 voucher boat league sponsor James Bayne tackle shop in Callander. 2nd was Ken Oliver with 7 fish and 3rd was newbee, Shug Shaw also with 7 fish. The new random selection of partners worked well and may prove to be popular!
