Lake of Menteith
6ft Water Temperature 14.5C , Clarity (Secchi disc) 3.6m.
Water temperature has increased another 2 degrees and clarity remains good at 3.6m. Over the week there has not been much change in tactics as far as I am aware - dries and hanging the buzzers on a washing line are still preferred. Alan Hill won the Police National Championships, all on his own with 20 fish , at the west side of Gateside Bay – apart from that (again as far as I am aware, it is competition season) the usual eastern basin drifts have been doing well.
