It has been a wet and windy weekend but hopefully it has settled to a sunny spell. Despite that there has been a lot of good sport to be had with fish getting caught on lines from a floater to a Di5. Fish are getting caught in most areas with Lochend, Road shore and Gateside being the most prolific. Flies that are doing well include Diawl bachs, blobs, Buzzers, Cat boobys, Cormorants, fabs.
With the Menteith boat league sponsored by James Baynes Fishing Tackle, Starting on the 7th of May there are still places available for this year, those of you who competed in it last year and would like to do it again if you want to take part again you can phone Douglas on 07752128489 or email through the boat league page on the website or contact me through the lakes facebook page.
