LIFE JACKETS On Friday night we had an old gentleman slid of his seat and fall in, he has wearing a life jacket but he had not checked it in the 12 years he has had it so it did not deploy. Luckily there was a few boats round him and they got him ashore. You HAVE to check your life jackets regularly checking there are no holes in it, check the arming unit and make sure the bottle is ok. If you are in doubt go to any tackle shop and they will help you out because a like jacket that does not work is as much use as a chocolate fireguard.
