Scottish Open Championship 2025

This year’s competition will take place on Sunday 17th August 2025.
£20 entry fee plus fishing costs. Randomly allocated boat partner. All subs go to the prize money which will be divided in the ratio 5:3:2 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. The competition is debarbed/barbless from the start with competitors fishing to Scottish Club Championship Rules. The match will commence at 9am and finish at 5pm and decided on the basis of most fish caught and released. Competitors will mark (and sign) their boat partners card and record the time of the first two fish caught. The fastest time of the first fish caught will be used in the event of a tie in number of fish caught. If this is also tied the fasted time of the second fish will be used. Competitors tackle may be inspected by random boat visit at any time.

The Scottish Open Fly Fishing Trophy is painted by Ronnie Glass and was specially commissioned by us for this one day competition.
